Microsoft Windows 7 or Vista?

Hey all. I am wondering whether it is worth using Windows 7 or going back to Vista as i find that it still seems to have bugs that stop certain programs from working. It doesnt have that Screen of Death that i know of yet, nor crashes explorer, but i still think Vista has more support than 7. Especially gaming wise.

    What do you think?

Def. not. I am playing all my games that I played XP Pro, Vista Ultimate and now I have em on W7 Ultimate. (Games include Modern Warfare 1 and 2; I am aware that I only have 2 games, but I kick ass in both of them )

While Vista may be seem as a better choice for someone who relies on support, mainly because it was out there longer, W7 is much more smoother, reliable, faster, and frankly, it supports all my software, including games (dating from XP Pro).

So, my suggestion you asked? Go with the W7 - Keep up with the 21 century ;) lol You wont have any problems finding a driver for your software. Every major gaming company out there have released drivers for W7.

Good luck with your choice :)

Do not go back to Vista from W7... but if you will then you will surely feel the difference.

The best scenario IMHO keep windows 7 and download virtual pc and install xp on there. Plus there is a windows xp mode in windows 7 (if you tap F8 as if you were going into safe mode; when the computer is loading)

Windows 7 is a fix version of Vista so your best bet is to get Windows 7.

On windows 7, my battery life is 20 mins and on Vista its 20 mins. :| Windows 7 lags as much as Vista used to. Both OS are bad according to me 'on my laptop'.

W7 works perfectly on my desktop and I love it. Looks like Vista, but it's better, faster, safer. I'm guessing that Microsoft realized that Vista failed so they just made W7 as an improvement of Vista.
Never used Vista and never will, W7 all the way :)

Win7 of course. Much more faster :)

All the games should be compatible with Win7 very soon as WinXP is going to be dead (not supported by MS anymore)

go for win7. If you're thinking about the games, it will surely be supported by the developers knowing that win7 is the latest OS supported by MS. Vista just sucks! even Bill Gates doesn't have anything to say about it. proof: http://w ww.youtube.com/watch?v=p6qIETRCxbw

Vista is bad, slow ... in compare to old Windows ... Vista is like Windows ME (bad useless system), W7 is like XP. If you have problems with old games try DOS Box to play games under Windows
