Hi, please critique home page of this new web site I'm working on: http://www.instyleweb.com/ Please try to judge from a company owner's point of view, not a web designer point of view. Specifically, I'd like to know your thoughts on the following: 1) Name and logo. Does it make sense. 2) Message. Is it clear and concise enough. 3) Design. Is it attractive. Thank you!
I suggest you may put the full URL to favicon.ico in order to be displayed when the page is bookmarked. However, great work! Regards.
I am using a netbook to view your site and in my opinion, it would be better to have the banner or the user interface section above the text that says We create websites for growing busineses. Maybe the banner appears nicely on a regular screen, but not sure. On my netbook, I didn't want to scroll to the rest of the page personally. Also, as I went from one page to the next, some of the text looked bunched up to me in certain places. The orange county special looks out of place to me. Oh and sites starting at $2500 doesn't sound like much of a deal to me. I think I was turned off at the mere mention of a price when so many others bait people with low price points. The text faster, cheaper and better which is on the home looks like a link to me since it's underlined and in blue, yet it didn't take me anywhere. I would prominently display your phone number at the top of the site if that is how you convert your sales. Where's your social media presence: Blog, Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn. Your contact us page takes me to the home page rather than a webform. Needs work, but good start. Hope my feedback was helpful.
