How to promote my own affiliate program.

I have my own site that promotes a line on mineral supplements. I have just set up an onsite affiliate program. What is the best way to find affiliates to promote my products??

Its a two tier program, 35% on the first 5% on the second. The product is exclusive and unique to me, so it should make a good product to promote for affiliates.

A number of ways I can think of (please note that for me this is a thought exercise, I have not tried to do this)

1. Find out how to get it placed on affiliate networks
2. PPC
3. Adverts on affiliate forums, blogs etc
4. Approach marketing bloggers for a review of your program
5. Approach marketers you work in that niche directly
6. Look to use anyone who has a 'list' of affiliate marketers - they may be interested in doing a mail out for money/a decent percentage
7. Article marketing
8. Forum sigs (improve your to say why aff marketers should clikc the links)
9. BST sections of aff forums (such as this one/WSO on the WF etc)
10. Networking
11. Facebook

That's it for a quick bit of thinking from me, hope it gives some ideas.

 

Another strategy that works well - give your affiliates a reason to make other affiliates.

Like, You earn 10% of what people you refer earn or such.
