    The payment i did on sunday is credited now, the payment i did on friday is still showing "Partner Processing" it seems when it is "Deposit in progress" it is directly by XOOM and when it is "Partner Processing" it is XOOM using some one else's services to deposit and that takes time

    The one on sunday was showing "Deposit in Progress" and the one on last friday is still showing "Partner processing"

    Yes you are correct the banks in India takes some ti,e to confirm the NEFT transfer so please wait for 2 to 3 days to get the money credited in your account.

    Xoom "Partner processing" - they are in tie-up with few banks and PNB is the main one. And in most cases, PNB does a NEFT deposit and that is when we see "Deposit in Progress". Once we see "Deposit in Progress", it will not take much time to reflect the amount in bank account.

    PNB is the core bank they work with, this is since the time it was used to be cash2india.com, but since right now there is a big spurt in india remittances (courtesy paypal) they are bound to use other partners as well
