How do I know if someone's using my Adsense ID?

I keep hearing that people could get you banned by using your adsense id? But how is that possible? When you try to add adsense on your website etc, they ask for your phone number etc!!

I don't have "allowed sites" feature on and I don't know how to see if other websites are using my ID. IS there anyway i can see the list? I know if you put "allowed these sites only", then you can see some IP addresses but is there anywhere else i can see?

I don't think there's any way to check that.
But you can always use channels to track impressions and match them with total impressions to make sure that someone else is using your published id.

This is the right answer. You can control this where you list the sites that can display your ads. This tool will also show if any other websites are showing your ads.

no this is the only way!and i suggest everybody to do the same! allow ads to display only on your websites because some enemy of yours could use your ad code to insert in pages with violence or adult content and lead to the termination of the agreement with Google

well you can check your stats or use analytics.

If u see funny stats coming from sites you are not listed, you can write in to Google.

If you're using the new (V3) Adsense control panel you can find out all sorts of nifty stuff. Pretty much anything from which sites are showing ads using your account ID to whether text or image ads are doing better on a specific site.

The list you're looking for is under the "Performance Reports" tab in the new Adsense CP. From there you select "Sites" from the menu on the left and it will show you a list of sites your ID has appeared on, including proxy sites, other peoples sites, etc along with infor about CTR, eCPM, impressions, etc about each individual site.

You should always use the allowed sites feature of Adsense, plus keep an eye on your impressions.
