PayPal withdrawal alternative, cost effective and fast - is yours better?

Yes, as I have selected a differnet bank (Their associate bank is PNB), it will be a NEFT transfer from PNB to my bank. This may take 24 to 48 hours after they transfer the funds. It's 30 hours from the time I initiated this, and only 1 day of NEFT settlement. I hope to receive it tomorrow in my account.

I will post here as soon as I get the funds. Someone may try to get in PNB as they make same time deposit in PNB accounts.

Xoom Worked!! Anyone trying to get quick funds can use this. Also, they didn't call me for verification or anything. The funds were transferred from "BAHRAIN INDIA INTL EXCH" via NEFT.

If anyone have an unverified paypal account, then can he withdraw his money via Xoom ? I'm little bit confused.

Hi Vijay, This is what I am looking for.

I hold business account in PayPal (like you do) and I have both personal account (hdfc & icici) and business account (icici).

I have few queries:

(1) In which name I should register xoom -- my name or my business name?
(2) to which account I should request to receive money -- account in my name or in my business name?
(3) While registering xoom, which country I should select -- India (where my bank account & my PayPal account is) or USA (because few people are saying that their transaction is canceled as it was Intra-India)?
(4) While registering xoom, which email I should use -- my PayPal email or any other?

May be I'll have few more queries in future. I understand my queries sounds very silly, but around 2 years back, I made 2 transaction successful and 1 transaction failed. Xoom told me no Intra-India is allowed. Now I want to try it again, but carefully. Plz help me.

And yes, one more thing. The transaction for which I am saying was failed had happened this way --> (1) money reached successfully in my bank account (2) after 2-3 days money returned back to paypal. So, I think even when transaction is successful for Intra-India, there is still danger of money reverse after few days.

Please suggest.

Finally, I called xoom today. They are saying they don't allow transfer from paypal account which is Indian and business account. Also, they confirmed that Intra-India is allowed but for personal (I guess they mean...non-business account, i.e personal and premiere) paypal account to personal bank account.

Means, when I hold business paypal account then, xoom is not for me. Then what other options do I have? Can anyone help me?

Sorry to say, but Business Account holders cant use XOOM, since XOOM doesnt allow business payment accont transfer. I would suggest you to wait for PayPal getting solved or getting it done via any of your friend, who has got a premier account.

XOOM allows 2999$ as one time limit and 6000$ monthly limit, I think.

There are so many Alternative Like you exchange your PayPal to Western union or Bank , many exchanger in servcie google it

Wrong. Per monthly limit is 2999USD without verification and 6000 USD with verification. Both are monthly limits. I think there is no per transaction limit.

 

Well, can you share the xoom customer care number mate

 

If i were you:

1. paypal TOS allows you to have 2 accounts, a business/premier account and one personal account, => i would open a personal account, and transfer all money there,....(recieving money in a personal account is free ... no loss)

2, i would sign up sign up for xoom, with my name, and give a neighbours address (Indian address), (i gave my grandparents address), and for the recipient, i would give my name and my address, and ensure im not crossing limits set by xoom for withdrawal amounts,

3. withdraw to personal ICICI/HDFC, not a business account,

thats it! most of the transfers go thru, perhaps odd cases where it bounces off as a intra-india payment

@msolutions, I know it very well. Actually, I planned exactly same thing. But in my case I have only one credit card, which is attached to my business paypal account. Now to get new personal paypal account verified, I need to have another credit card. PayPal don't allow same credit card with two accounts.

Another issue, I have over $9000 blocked in paypal. And I need to get them all asap. I can't wait for a month. So I need to cross the limit of xoom.

 

This was the first thread about Xoom..and I guess it worked for all. That you OP., It really helped many of os.

I just made 1 test transaction and last night 1 more 2K$ transaction .

@Mr Kumar - you could buy a VCC off the net, $7 ~ $15 ull have to dig in, or you could enquire your credit card company if they have one, ICICI/ HDFC do have an option. i think it should work....

i had the same issue, and paypal cust care asked me to remove the card from one account totally, and then attach the same to the other account,... i think a wait time of a day or two, and it goes thru (this was around 3 years ago, current TOS may have changed, you could write to paypal to ask)

huge amounts => you could perhaps request a check from paypal directly, i guess should work out fine,
