    Advertising (learn more)

Advertise virtually anything here, with CPM banner ads, CPM email ads and CPC contextual links. You can target relevant areas of the site and show ads based on geographical location of the user if you wish.

Starts at just $1 per CPM or $0.10 per CPC.

My CPM dropped from $2.8 to $.50 is 7 days?!

It is steadily dropping every day. It used to be $2, I did change an ad from 160x600 to 250. All others not changed. I thought 250 has less ads, so CPC should be higher... And I add a box to let user to input information (not many do though).

Or man, this is really devastating. And I don't want to go back.

    Any help or advice?

smart pricing kicking in. Basically, your traffic isnt converting enough to deserve $2 eCPM.

It has been at $2 for months, so why sudden drop? Traffic and traffic source the same.

Cut back on the number of ad units you are using then check again next week. A lot of advertisers are moving nin and out of the content network. I'm noticing less stability day to day... but overall averages about the same week to week compared to last month.

Probably a temporary thing. This is true also for me when I do some SEO.

    Has your CTR gone down?

    Most likely it has.

Depends on the traffic and the changes you made.

I noticed the same thing too. My earning suddenly dropping since last week although the traffic remained the same. Is there something happen to Adsense? New policy perhaps?

CTR is pretty stable, but CPC seems dropp even faster..
In fact, I have less ads (5) than before (6, I mean individual ads, only 2 blocks)

I looked Adsense ad review, in fact, more advertisers are targeting my site. I look at Google ADwords, the CPC is stable..

I only add one box to let user input, does that cause people not click the ads?

Can I add CJ or text links to generate more revenue?
