Where do you purchase traffic?

In all honesty, I have never found a website online which sells decent bulk traffic. I have tried heaps of them. It's always the same old story. 5,000 hits and not a single click onto any other page.

A lot of people say safelists are not good. However, I use them because at least it's real people. But what I do is join as a premium member so that I can email all the "contact" addresses of the people, not just the freebie addresses that no one ever reads.

Where do you find DECENT traffic. Something that once you've paid, you have at least some respect left for the provider?

usually those ones that can GUARANTEE traffic, are people who will just pop your homepage on random sites / parked domains etc. That is the only way they can guarantee traffic to your site unless they bot / fake.

If you do banner advertising / pops on quality sites, it will help to brand your site as well. When you advertise by banner you aren't forcing people on your site, they will choose to come on to your site because they are attracted by your banner. There are alot of online advertising networks out there that do this, all networks work with different sites, could be premium sites or shit sites just find a network that has your targeted audience and try it out with them. let me know if you need any help

Personally, I prefer to not buy it, I prefer to see real visitors coming and they WANT to visit my website, not visiting it just for money or cause they were redirected !

If you want quality traffic to your site you should go the PPC advertising. Buying bulk traffic is useless unless all you want to do is pad your stats.

What do you mean by "buying traffic"?
Traffic that only increases the bounce rate on your site? Gosh, you can find those traffic sale offers here on this forum.
But targeted traffic and traffic that stays on your site? PPC is the only one I can think of. But that can be costly if the ROI won't turn out good for you.

I've read from the other from about buying traffic from etology.com
But never use to direct traffic to your adsense enabled site.

You might as well spend money in hiring writers and engage in article marketing. The quality of traffic is higher.

I agree somewhat. A bunch of links don't do you any good if you don't have good content and keywords/metatags.

    It all depends.

You can get really good traffic, but it all depends on your targeting,
    and your offer.

I'd have to agree with those saying go the PPC route. So long as you have the budget and can squeeze out a decent ROI it's probably the most targeted, responsive traffic you'll get.

Otherwise, going the content/SEO route will be much cheaper, but of course, it's more of a long-term strategy that needs to be done consistently and requires lots of patience.

most traffic is a scam, but some of the better PTC websites still do it legit

    Try sites like buxp, lol.

Or just buy advertising, more effective than traffic

Yeah, buy ads. It's not guaranteed traffic, but it's much better overall. Get one of those $100 adwords coupons and you can get 400 targeted visitors for most categories. That's enough to make much more than the coupon is worth.
