Joomla htaccess rewrites

    Ok guys i'm a total noob when it comes to the htaccess so i'm looking for some help.

    i need to rewrite those ugly:
    index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=6
    index.php?option=com_content&view=category&id=6
    index.php?option=com_content&view=section&id=6

    to more nice looking html instead

    index/option/content/article/some_page.html instead.

    so i'm really stuck at what expression to write and what rewriterule..

    any help will be much appreciated

    I'm not sure if your request makes sense. I'm guessing you just mistyped something. You should be able to use something like this:

    RewriteRule ^([A-Za-z0-9-\.]+)/([A-Za-z0-9-\.]+)/([0-9]+)/?\index.html$ index.php?option=$1&view=$2&id=$3

    You urls will look something like this:

    www.mysite.com/com_content/article/6/index.html
