You have to know what your strategy is. Just being in 10 different places at once: FB, Twitter, etc. is not going to help you much. If your strategy is Twitter then become an expert at advanced Twitter strategies. This means studying the top theories on Twitter until you develop your own theories and can trash everything you've read up to that point. Then you will be in a position to one-up your competition. Same thing goes for SEO or Facebook marketing. If you are trying to make money, then you are in competition with others trying to do the same. The first step to competing well is accumulating knowledge.
well, do some research on user behaviors about Dubai tourism on the net. That usually means keyword research using the infamous Google tool. Then you will know what to do with that... Try to join some travel forums as well, these are the things you can do.
Just as the other commentators have suggested learn more about your target audience where they hang out what they want to know the questions that they would ask. Then create some quick videos and answer their questions partially and lead them back to your website and title your videos and video descriptions with some good keywords that are related to the types of searches your target market would do on a daily basis. This will get you some rankings and some traffic.
one of the features I like to see on travel related site like yours is to have a user experience forum.. they submit their photos, and talk about their travel experience in DUBAI ... I like to see the destination from fellow travelers eyes.. once you have a forum in place.. you may get the word of mouth marketing going.. which is damn powful
Just want to know what is your aim of develop this blog? Is it your interest or just want to make money on it? Research on the keywords and make post relevant on it. Organic search through search engine is the main stream of traffic you want to push it.
For your niche which is about travel what I would say is, make a list of high profile travel forums and post in those forums with your sig link. This might get some traffic funneled to your site from those travel forums.
