Blog commenting Good or Bad?

Hi,

We are all doing commenting in blogs, I heard that doing blog commenting is not good and there is a chance to spam?. Blog commenting is good or bad?

 

I would like to know this answer as well.

 

Definitely It is a very good method. This is one of the most effective method in SEO. And If you do commenting on relevant blog site then It is not spamming.

 

I seriously don't understand how your able to promote a SEO service, which I believe you are a staff member / owner of, when your claiming that blog commenting is a good way to increase your ranking in the SERPS, you've given completely wrong information.

Supplying you are writing real comments, then you are not spamming anyone, it's that simple, if a webmaster doesn't want to give you the backlink, then they can mark your comment as spam, that's their choice, if they are approving it, then they are obviously happy to link to you.

Blog commenting tends to bring very low quality backlinks, which on a low number, are rather pointless, but as blog commenting is very easy/quick to do, if you were to build large amounts of backlinks with blog commenting, you can get some great results.

Don't just take my word for it, I've got a number of websites, ranking on the first page for many keywords, all from blog commenting, you just need to figure out what works for you.

 

If you have a relevant comment that actually adds to the content of the blog you are commenting on, go for it. If you comment is irrelevant, don't expect your comment (and backlink) to be approved. Remember, you are a guest on someone else's blog.

If you care to find some do-follow blogs to comment on, do a Google search for "you comment I follow" (in quotes).

 

its good for site backlink. if u post in comment in blog so u can get one link in free of coast and also blog has good PR so u can get google crawl regularly

 

Have to agree - @sweet rahman try posting on any of my blogs for example and you will be lucky if your comment even gets through let alone whether it is nofollow or not!

 

Definitely blog commenting is good method for bringing in traffic if you leave thoughtful meaningful on-topic comments on the respectve blogs people may choose to visit your blog from those sites.

 

It is if a holes like me let them through as worthwhile on a blog that has the nofollow thing switched off because the commenter at least participated by commenting something useful Traffic-Bug - as you say on topic and meaningful - as I am damned if I want to let useless crud through

 

yes blog comment is good for seo , with u will increase back link and also increase ranking very fast but do follow blog important. My advise u promote your website with another seo tactic like directory , forum , article , press , news ,social media marketing ..... because with blog comment when blog admin delete your comment at that time your ranking will be down.

 

Blog commenting is Good as long you are commenting organic way! If you blog site related to health and if you are commenting on fashion blog it’s spam also write comment only on related topic and comment should not spammy.

 

blog comments are awesome and definitely help SERPS-- especially if they are on a high PR page

 

Blog commenting is extremely a good source for our website promotion.
Well its effective in two perspectives -

Do follow blogs help us to get the backlinks ( though they are less found).Basically blogs are permanent source to get the baclinks.

No follow blogs might not help u to get backlinks but certainly it may generate good traffic.Blogs are of common interest among common masses as compared to articles.

Blog commenting is a GOOD source.

Blog coment is the effective method to get backlink.but you must do commenting on relevant do follow blog or pr>0 do follow blog page .

Blog commenting is excellent as long as you dont spam, i hate spam comments, and i really wonder those people who still think spam comments can go through, the spam blockers out there are excellent nowadays

I am even frustated in knowing everytime that people are backing up false factors which says that forum and blogs are of no use these days.

I would tell you then blog commenting is not only good but best to get not only backlink but quality comments makes you sure that you will get huge traffic.
