Maybe old news to some, but just did a link-check and see that HUB pages, MIXX and wordpress are now no-follow links. Lots of wasted time writing blogs for SEO-link building purposes.

    Thanks!

Are there other sites that are no follow that we should know about?

This would save me a lot of time ....

    OMG !!!!

I think now it will affect all those ppl who were doing Hub pages and also blog postings from word press.

Could you tell me how can you cancel off the no follow of the word press.

    Thanks :)

On your Wordpress Blog just install the

JV_nofollow addon (I think that's the right name) Just go to your WordPress admin panel and search for it

it is true that more and more sites are nofollow these days, thaks to linl spammers who keep spamming the sites for backlinks. noone like to see their blog spammed by online pharmacy or casino site owners for which they turn the blog to nofolow. with wordpress, you have to option to go either dofollow or nofollow (by default the comments are nofollow).

regarding hubpages, it is nofollow to begin with but if you can get your individual hubscore to 75+, then it will turn your links to dofollow.

there are still plenty of sites that are dofollow, you just have to look harder :)

Seems like just one more reason to maintain as much control of your content as you can.

    i.e., wordpress.org vs. wordpress.com

That's why I post comment on those hubs above 75 or those reaching 75. The link may become dofollow when those new hubs reach 75.
