backling google vs alexa

    How come if I check my backlinks with google on some backling checkers I get 2 or very few, and when I check on others I get more than 500?
    Is there a true backlink checker for google that gives what actually google counts for pr and indexing?

    Do you mean that if Webmaster Tool gives me 500 Alexa and 0 Google are my backlinks are useless on google?
    I am sure something happened as I went from 0page 50 to page 5 at one point, but backlinks are shown (GOOGLE) either 0 or 2. Alexa counts them all instead.

    google doesnt disclose every backlink. if they did everyone would game the system.

    I understand, I am also realising that most of my backlinks are nofollow.
    What a waste of time.....

    nofollow backlinks aren't always a waste of time. If it was a relevant link to your site, that has inherent value as well.
