What kind of site are you opening? Is it going to be a blog, forum,,,, or some kind of big reviews site? Depending on the software you want to use, there goes a certain amount of your money right there. Some of the things that I would do with the left over cash, buy a nice digital camera that does video. Buy some articles. Pay for a server 6 months in advance - that way you dont have to worry about servers fees for a few months. Maybe buy some interviews with professionals in your niche
I agree that your strategy should reflect what kind of site it is. My approach would be to devote more resources to linkbuilding/seo if it's in a less competitive niche, and favor PPC if it's in a more competitive one.
Create a niche website, like either article site or directory site or any thing, promote it, and get lots of webmasters as your friends, so that you will get good advertisement to your site. Earn revenue from adsense.
That is a very general question,is that money to be included in the purchase of the site or general marketing of it ??? If you could be a bit more specific you may get some more feedback.
I agree. Spend most of it on a great design, nice logo and professional look and feel. Then spend teh rest on articles and organic SEO. SEO takes time, but get a good looking site first.
I'd buy a website on flippa.com that was already doing well and improve it to the best of my ability. That is if i had $1,000 that i wanted to invest of course
Depends on niche of website, and competition. But I'd definitely spend some money on content, and links in any case.
Real Estate! A Sites a Site. Built For Lead Generation and Processing. Might As Well Make The Biggest Paychecks For Leads Possible!
Take a bit of time to learn how to set up a CMS, buy a template (50$) and you have 950$ to invest in SEO.
Everyone is talking about design. Look at googles home page. It's simple, nothing special and yet its use way more yahoo and bing. If your doing SEO stuff i'd buy a domain that has age. Make the site as simple as possible from browsing to purchase then driving traffic via joint venturing, banner ads, reviews sites and a little bit of ppc.
That's clever... I think I would research for established systems that work and invest on this automated sites.
I would use the $1000 to have articles written and get memberships at sites like Unique Article Wizard to help with backlinks.
