Hey, don't knock it. It's a good way to get on page one of google since they do list froogle products at the top of serps for products. If you do it right, it could help when you're not there organically. Mine are and I do get hits because of it. If you're selling a good product at good prices, you will get a sale.
Don't listen to this muppet. Have a look on Froogle.com and browse around. You'll get an impression of what it is.
It's like PriceWatch.com...basically a product comparison search engine that focuses on prices. Damn you're cute.
Always such nice comments. Anyway, for information on what Froogle is I would go to the source first: https://www.google.com/froogle/merc...froogle/merchants/home?gsessionid=k6srhJGb-X0 Contrary to mr negativity, we see about 30% of our traffic to our store coming from Froogle. It works, it's great, it's easy to setup a feed, and best of all it is FREE.
I think google has kinda ignored froogle for a while. My ecommerce store used to get a bunch of sales from froogle but in the past few months we haven't received anything
I've been uploading products to froogle for two weeks...both by ftp and their new online method (through website)...and nothing has been happening. They are still running my same 30 products I uploaded a month ago. But i agree with the positivists here...it really is wonderful. I get 100 visitors a day just from froogle alone. It's way cool!
I see there is still no shortage of people willing to help someone with a pretty face as an avatar lol. note to self: gotta remember to register a female alter ego that looks like Mariah Carey Where's fryman with that picture of the fat guy when you need him
