Question about backlinks

If we have 3 sites: A, B and C
Which is better for C:

First case:
A link to C
B link to C

or

Second case:
A link to B
A link to C
B link to C

 

It really depends what is on the other sites - is the subject matter of a similar nature [same theme], which of the other sites have a higher PR, etc

 

OK, then let's say A and B are on the same subject, but C is not.

 

I think this one is better

A to B
B to C
C to A

 

in that case:
A to B
B to C

I personally would not link C to A because it would complete a look which google might spot.

better, you do seo techniques ( on page and off page optimization) for every website ...
because it's very effective to increase traffic every site..
