This is an Automotive niche... links from a high PR site. Clicks that used to pay commissions in the $60-$80 range per sale.

Now eBay doesn't even pay for any of the traffic.

This site is almost 10 years old and ranks very highly in Google and pulls a very large amount of traffic.

These are not low quality clicks.

eBay blows. Off to take down their crap links. No sense in feeding them free traffic. Adsense still paying close to a buck a click in this niche.

That's a bummer. I know the eBay Motors has been tough due to the car market and the change to the new system.

I will say other Niches pay better and work better because there is more frequent buying. I've had an EPC between 0.19 - 0.39 this month....with sales everyday but one.

I would try a different affiliate, it can't hurt.

Why is it when someone sees their revenue dip they blame it on the affiliate rather than looking at the reasons why their site is no longer performing?

How on earth is moving to another affiliate going to solve the issue?

Your website is obviously not targeting the correct audience to convert to buyers. Your not going to be paid for garbage traffic..

I'm all over the board with this program now. The thing I don't get is almost ALWAYS when one campaign does poorly, it weighs down all of the others that are performing. I can't complain though, still making money with them. The thing that kills me are the random bot attacks. I'm still wrapping my head around why we the affiliates are responsible for protecting against them, but, I guess that's the way it has to be.

Your making the right decision here. I would move to something else, times have changed.

My EPC was around 14 cents and this month it's at 1 cent.

Does anyone know what could be going on?

How should we know. Have you looked at your logs? What do your referring urls say? Has you rank/position changed? Look at your traffic and visitors for the answer, then look at what you might be doing wrong in terms of marketing and driving traffic to your site.

There is no transparency in the algo that EPN is using. I've found that if you sell high priced items you'll see an immediate impact in QCP score. I've gone from .26 to .51 in one day and from .26 to .03 in another during a bot attack.

Remember, EPN just stated that to get the algo to work for you, you need to be sending at lease 50 clicks per campaign.

Seriously? You haven't moved on by now? Their new system is just a scam. Get over it, move on to something else, and make some money!

I gave up on them a long time ago. Went back to working with CJ and I'm coming back strong.

I went back to EPN after a break, one of the affiliate managers even wrote to us and asked us why we left. I'm not sold on their new 'system' but I went back anyway. in 7 days my traffic went from 40c per click to one cent... (all organic well targeted) I simply took down their links. I'm getting 50 cents per click doing other things..
