    Is Submitting articles to directory beneficial to the directories or to the blogger. If the reader does not click through to your site after reading the article, who gains?:)

    I work at a company which has one of the country's top SEO teams. Article marketing is a big part of what they do.

    Very low traffic from each article, but keep submittion and over time it adds up. Then there's the link juice.

    Not to mention that a lot of these article directories offer your article for republishing by other webmasters. I've had articles on EZA republished dozens of times. That is a lot of extra backlinks from just a single article.

    that would be a win win situation. the article directories get free content submitted by you and you get backlinks plus traffic.

    if a reader doesn;t click through the link on the resource box, then your article must have not been appealing enough. you cannot however expect everyone who reads your article to click on your links. only a small fraction of the people will read the whole article and click to learn more

    Yeah it has great benefits but the best method is quantity combined with quality. The top ten article sites with added articles for your keywords will bring big benefits for link juice and traffic if the article is good.

    If the reader does not click trough to your site something is wrong. Either your article is irrelevant, badly written or your resource box is not persuasive enough.

    I'm currently trying out article submission to ezine and goarticles. I like goarticles better. There is one particular article downloaded 50 times in Goarticles within a week of uploading, and 0 time in Ezine.
