Anyone else got the email alert after withdrawal (Indian Paypal Users) ??

I read an article last night on CNBC news ( US) about this issue..but nothing new ..just old story with new cover with statement of paypal India Officials

 

Anyone got any reversals today ? is it 'safe' to transact with goods option - After 30 reversals.. I cant take any more.. My clients r also agitated coz of these stupid reversals. some have not paid back.. well, even if and when they do.. I am still in a soup till they transfer funds to bank - right ?

 

yeah its better to stop. because even if those gets reversed it really looks awkward to ask them again / again / again

 

I had got a payment reversed on Sunday ... neither are reversals stopped nor have the paypal team stopped working on Sundays

Let us wait till tomorrow as it was mentioned that the issue might be solved till Tuesday

 

Has anyone received the payment in Bank Today?

 

CoolFire!! Nobody received payment sofar and date it will reach seems very unclear

 

And maybe... hope for the worst?

 

Actually I raised a support ticket directly to xoom. The agent said if the paypal account is verified then self withdrawal is allowed.

 

I do not know how this is possible... because about 5 minutes back, I had tried to withdraw USD 200 through Xoom.com but it was cancelled. This is below message I received -

After careful review, the Xoom Customer Verification Team has canceled your recent Xoom money transfer X061865654xxxxxx. You have not been charged for this transaction.

If you would like to speak to someone on the Xoom Customer Verification Team about this decision, you may contact us by sending an email to: .

I have been a victim of this. More than $3500 stuck.
I hope they get it resolved quickly.

 

And this all affects our relation with clients...
Specialy new clients...
I had 3 new clients though i trust all and hope they pay because i have already sent original works + left +ve itrader...
But its like a crack in glass..!!

 

I know how to give back paypal the right way!

If every Paypal User in India co-operates and withdraws all his paypal balance to his bank after this issue is sorted and never every again use paypal till they apoligise and gift few $$$ for inconvinence, as India is paypals one of largest market.

They will repend...

I spoke to a customer service representative at Paypal. He said the problem may be solved this week. The withdrawals of January may come to our bank accounts, but February payments will be reversed to the sender, which they did.

I just wanted to know that if I withdraw using a check or credit card, then will I still face similar problems? There's a $5 fees for these methods, but I am willing to use it and not lose any more money.

 

i have unverified paypal account with some money in it

 

hi is check will be issues in INR or $$ ? never tried that

if they isssue in INR its 1-2 days to deposit after deposit in bank if its in $ then it may take another 15-20 days

 

I agree with you but are you sure that our all client will do same to quit using paypal? As paypal needs us, we need it too, may be more than it

I got little payment of 30 bucks which is not reversed but a payment of 700 bucks reversed when i client send it again.

Its like that they dont want our account to have more $ to withdrawal./

 

Check will be in Indian Rupees. But since they use normal post, it takes 10-15 days to arrive.

 

I never had any payment reversed made for purchase of selling of goods.
Just that the Request Money feature of receiving payments was being reversed. Does anyone have any uipdate on that?
Any update on bank withdrawls?

@Deluxdon, I never did any great job, Someone or the other had to call. I lost the recording of the most funny call i made. Lol i insulted him badly in that.

 

but mate what u will do if they send check also with delay ? so better wait few days.
