    Hello.

I would like to know what your 10 best link building tips are (Beware: this must lead to SEO useful backlinks to a chosen site!). Do you use social book marking, directories, link exchange, blogging or what ever method one can think of.

Except for the general SEO 101, I would also like to see some real trade secrets!

Doubtful you're going to get any "Trade Secrets" on a public message board, to me SEO is about consistent effort.

    2) Blog
    3) Video
    4) Podcast
    5) RSS
    6) Profiles
    7) Forum Sig's
    8) Blog Comments
    9) Link exchange
    10) Social bookmarks

This view point is generally comprehensive. But don't forget put your related links on your own website.

I believe they mean text-link-ads.com (purchasing ads)

This is a solid list from @jambee

Here are my top choices (no order):

    - internal linking
    - content creation (blogs / videos)
    - content partnerships (new age link exchange)
    - blog rolls / blogger partnerships (think guest blogging, only expanded)
    - dofollow forum sigs
    - social bookmarking (only the best content)
    - classified ads
    - PR / article submissions (dofollow)
    - commenting on blogs
    - sharing links with niche sites & social groups (FB / Linkedin / Google groups) etc.

My Top Seven Goes Something Like This:

#1 Quality Content. In the long run I think good quality content wins out. You can only trick the search engines for so long by getting them to rank BS content. If you're serious about long term rankings, spend some time creating some worthy content for your website/blog. Quality content is a form of "link baiting" as well. When you have content that people are actually interested in, you will get truly organic links from people who want to tell others about it.

#2 Article Marketing. You can check out my sig link below for a detailed account of how I go about using article marketing. This is definitely my #1 link building method.

#3 Video Marketing. I find it easier to get videos to rank than other types of landers. At the same time they are harder to convert. But I do think they are a good thing to incorporate into your overall link building strategy. And with three of the five article distribution sites I use you can actually embed YouTube videos (with links pointing at it) which I've found to be an effective way to get those videos to rank in the search engines.

#4 Web 2.0 Sites. Squidoo, Hubpages, and the like. I also consider EZineArticles in this category in a way because it's pages can rank. Basically these are pages that you set up that link back to your own domain for two reason. The first is to build quality links back to your domain and the second is because these pages can rank in the search engines themselves (sometimes they can be much easier to get to rank than your own domain in fact!) So when I do my article marketing I link back to both my own domains and to these web 2.0 pages (which creates a "link wheel" of sorts.)

    5. Social Bookmarking. Digg, Stumbleupon, Propeller, etc. These can get you a lot of traffic and (maybe more importantly) can lead to some organic links (if your content is good) as people will find you on these services and then link to you on their own sites or in forums.

    6. Forum Sigs. Speaking of forums, another strategy is to join relevant forums and include your links in your sig. You must be careful. Do not come across as a spammer. Post relevant information and never link to your site in your posts.

    7. Blog Commenting. Another area where you must be careful. I think it's a good idea to use a real human name rather than a KeyWord. People automatically think you are spam if you use a KeyWord as your name. I don't think this is a negative, a link with the name "John" as the anchor text is better than no link at all.

    ---

I know you asked for ten and not seven, but these seven pretty much cover everything I do as far as link building goes and it's been pretty effective.

Here are three things I don't do:

    1. I Don't Buy Links. I just don't think this is the best way to invest my money. I guess there are people who are successful with this approach, but it doesn't fit for me.

    2. I Don't Submit To Directories. I used to do this, but I think in 2010 directories are pretty much ridiculous. Nobody uses them and I don't think the search engines give much (if any) weight to links coming from them.

    3. I Don't Try To Exchange Links. This is just a dreadful waste of time in my opinion.

Zibblu, Thanks for your detailed post.
Create/post in as many blogs and Web2.0 properties as possible to link back to your domain.
    But don't spam...

for my point of view, it should be participation in twitter, facebook, youtube, social bookmarking, area wise classified, interesting article, keyword analysis and find out best keyword would be main point.
