Anyone else got the email alert after withdrawal (Indian Paypal Users) ??

the idiots are on verge of spoiling my birthday..its on 7th1 withdrawal pending 2 payment reversed :

 

Mate, the issue is only with Personal payments, it's not going to touch the payments made for any goods or services.

But, they should have imposed it from beginning not like this - I can see how big mess it is to reverse all the payments after filtering, after all PayPal is the biggest gateway.

I too have witnessed this when paying an Indian business associate... Does anyone know if it is a permanent update in the terms and conditions of Paypal?

I hope getafreelancer will keep your money. They are a good company. Withdraw using another method this time if possible. Or ask GAF whether they will send again and not as personal payment.

 

Mine has been reversed in spite of it being a 'services' payment. Client is well known to me and we have always dealt with payments as 'services' and there has been no problem before.

Just now, the payment I received from text link ads on feb 1 was revert back. This is insane. I mailed text link ads about it.

I am really worried about the bank withdrawal and not the bloody reversal. I want to get my money in my bank account. it is huge

 

finally i got the answer

Paypal reverting all type of payments ( they revert my 1 payment which i got for link sell and other which i invoice to my client and i got the payment) In both case those are not personal payment at all


So guys hence proved PayPal gone made

 

I hope so ..no more reversal from my account.

 

So then it's still not clear which type of payment are revert back. It's really confusing.

 

That's what we are all worried about but all they are doing is reversing withdrawals back to buyer. This happened to my 1st Feb withdrawal. There is still no news about my 27th Jan withdrawal.

 

for sure they wll not reverse paymnts made as "goods" . just askd 2 clients to pay that way .. lemme see what happens

Its about time that we end working with PayPal. I have bought 2 Checkout for myself yesterday they charged me $49 only and I agree the fee of withdrawal is big as compared to PayPal, but atleast I have peace of mind that my money will be easily wired to my account.

Plus, what I think is that, you could always ask your clients to pay for the 2Checkout Fee so that you are able to recieve the exact break even amount that is needed for a project.

Let me know your thoughts?

After all, everyone in US or the UK has a CC and they could easily use 2CO.
