    yes, I have updated my all WordPress blog to latest 2.9.1 version.
    It is always recommended to use latest stable version because of many reason including security.

    Yeap, it's highly recommended to update to the latest version as soon as posible! The main reason would be the security ;)

    I now always update to the latest version. I let one of my sites run on an old version, it got malware uploaded and I lost all my Google rankings.

    I personally enjoyed the old wordpress admin panel :( The new one is kind of annoying

    I am running the most recent version on all my sites, security is important. I also like the fact that I can now batch update my plugins. It was well worth the move to 2.9

    Using latest version is the way to go, at least for me. One of my site running on old version was hacked once. Since then, I always use the latest version. Kinda pain to update so often.
    Yea, panel is kind of complex now. But, it's cool .. it's free :p

    I always use the latest version of wp. It is strongly recommended to use latest ver to prevent from hacking.

    no doubt in this - use the latest version wen u make a site and keep on updating it too as new versions arrive. Else you may land in deep trouble as spammers and hackers are getting more wiser these days!

    Your old version of WP will not stand their "updated" attacks on your blog.
