I totally agree. Content can contain the keywords and other terms that can help the search engine find us - and help a page get to the top, in ranking. I have tried it the other way, it did not work for me.
I would say the methods used in marketing are also important. Someone that uses more traffic sources will always win. A person that markets a site with Social Bookmarking and Article Writing will beat a person marketing his site with just Article Writing. Even if the guy that writes just articles does more hours of work. The Key is to use as many different ways you know to makrket your site for all kinds of different and unique traffic. There is one exception. If your site's niche is a pretty to-the-point, then there may not be that much advertising to do. Only use what you know best.
content is very important but i think people relations is the most important think in any kind of marketing even internet marketing.so if you want to be successful on the internet as well as any place else you wanna market you have to build trust and honesty FIRST. correct me if i`m wrong lol

This is true that is the king of Internet Marketing. A well written content around user interest, with the stuffing of business keywords ( which can attract users attention) is always noticed and become popular.
Mind set. You need to change how you think. Because it will affect your end results. It is just the same if you want to succeed.
Keyword research is the first step prior to writing your content. Make sure that your being more specific when attacking key words. Instead of trying to rank #1 for TV's attack a specific model TV that is a hot seller. That will really increase your conversion. Just have to think about the buyers perspective depending on the traffic your looking to attract to your URL.
