Are you sure about this one? I also not heard about it coz I am still getting some backlinks from forum signatures here in DP and other do follow forums?

Anyway your list is indeed many pmolds it is really helpful for us ...considering that I really like joining forums

That is so NOT true.

I can prove it, however I don't care to. Let me say this... Search engines believe that forums are "authority" oriented, that people talk about current topics that carry weight and depth. It may not be reality, but that is what search engines believe.

Take DP for instance. Focused webmaster oriented conversation and content rich information about the subject. If you Google a subject related to SEO or whatever, 9 times out of 10 DP posts show up in the search. If YOU happen to be the one that started the thread or are seriously providing content to that thread topic, then YOU are highlighted in that search also as an "authority" contributor. Test it out for yourself, you will see that 3 out of 10 search results are leading to some forum somewhere.

I rest my case.
