I was thinking of putting up an article directory and try to get several thousand rewritten articles on it and put adsense on it. Articles with targeted Long Tail keywords which are high paid KW? Would it be a flop or a good idea? I just had thought on getting traffic to such a site..
That sounds like a great idea. I was thinking about something like that. You should have a tool that submits adsense onto all the articles once they are done being wirtten by users. Another unique way of doing that is give the users some profit for writing. You would get a lot of traffic that way. Do something like some of the paid article sites do.

They insert thier adsense code and every 2/3 times it shows thier adsense and every 1/3 of the views it shows my adsense? Is it allowed to do so? Cause Adsense might detect 1000 different adsense on 1 website.. and always changing..?
does that mean you will get unique content for your site? if you don't have unique content, you will find it difficult to get traffic from search engines, especially Google.
sure sure, only unique article make sense.. Im just worried if its really worth it.. I mean why the effort if it wont make good money..do u make good money with manipalonline having adsense on it?
That is a good idea but unless you have tremendous time to promote and outrank your competitors (which is hard) I don't think you can do good on this...
Apart from all the things you should have a very good creative knowledge to write multiple articles. Using same content and submitting the same to various article portals wont bring any credit to your content; search engines will consider them as a duplicate content i wont carry any credit.

I think you can do it if: 1. You rewritten your articles good enough to it didn't count as duplicate. 2. Have a way to rank each page on google top 5 with small or little works(using old domain will help in this imo).

A rewritten version of it to post on other directories 3. try to get them rank high 4. try to get a High PR after a Year (No budget to buy a high PR Domain) Temporary Problem: Articles. that's not my site. getting unique content isn't the difficult part. the difficult part is getting traffic. I suggest you buy an existing article directory and experiment with it. every now and then, I come across an article directory that has been abandoned by its owner. buy a directory that has some history and some incoming links. you should be able to get one cheaply. that would save you a lot of time. if you want, you can slowly remove the content of the domain and replace it with your unique content.
It's a Good Idea but you need to do promote the same to earn revineu from adsense, Google only pass the traffic if your content is unique
The Unique content isnt that hard just lots of time being spent on it.. just getting people (traffic to read) and then hopefully click on adsense is my concern
I think it is a great idea. Articles always bring traffic and if the keywords are targeted, it will probably be a gold mine.
No, you would use just your adsense account. You would explain to the users that they will get payed a certain ammount for the clicks on thier articles. You then Share an amount with them. Have it in thier accounts on how many clicks and veiws they get along with money they earn.

If I say they get paid for every click, they would click on thier own adsense = gets my adsense banned or they tell people to click on thier ads = my adsense acc ban aswell..
Article directories is a good way to earn adsense i hope you are successful in running your own article directories.
That sounds like a good plan, maybe you should start with 10 articles in each category and then spend the rest of your time promoting the site and gaining backlinks to it. That will attract people to submit their articles to your site
