$138K Investment - Niche Website, mid-high $X,XXX monthly recurring profit

I won't actually list the URL, and I won't be sending it to any interested party,
unless you acknowledge that you have $138K to spend.

(This is not to say you are committing to anything or such - but in other words,

also slightly flexible, but I do need to know you are serious).

This is a VERY unique niche in online dating industry. The reason for the
uniqueness is not the type of members that join it or such (i.e. these are
your average male and female dating seeker audience), but rather a twist in
the offer the site makes to the average visitor (i.e. it offers something extra,
other than just potential dates).

Typical dating sign-up from click metrics are from 5 to 8% whereas this
website is never below 15% and as high as 25%. The extra addons are the
differentiating feature that result in better ad performance. We have a large
inventory of effective creative that will be included in the sale.

Site operations began in October of 2005 and there have been 67376
asign-ups to date. It is operated under contract as a member of a huge
dating database, they provide access to a large pool of date registrations
(over 2,000,00 if memory servers), which makes the site more attractive and
ready to go (i.e. people won't find only 5-10 individuals that may interest
them, but rather hundreds or more if necessary).

This partner also provides the technology, customer service and order
processing, so site maintenance is very limited - the site is virtually hands
free in those respects.

Current rate of commissions is 80% of all sales. After marketing expenses
(paying marketing partners, and such), around 60% of the profit is left.
However, the best part in this business is the recurring subscriptions -
monthly, quarterly, annual etc. - these recurring subscriptions mean your
marketing efforst will only work to increase your existing monthly profit. In
other words, unlike other businesses that require selling XXX products per
month to make your monthly revenue, this business is already established in
the respect that many of the existing members will renew irregardless of
your marketing efforst.

This also helps when it comes to word of mouth, extra advertising from
existing members (i.e. you will get signups through such hands-free
marketing efforts as well) - so revenue is a key ingredient here.

Current net profit is over $6K per month. Proof of revenue is available in the
form of private password protected access to a third party verifiable stats
service from the partner company, through which you will be able to see the
following:

1) Registration rates.
2) Cancellation rates.
3) Existing subscriptions.
4) Recurring subscriptions.
5) Revenue for each and every month since the beginning.

The sale includes rights to several custom tools which are used by the site
members.

The site makes over $6K actually, not $6K. I'll get the exact figures later. That's after marketing expenses for the existing month. In other words, if you stopped marketing this month, you should expect around $8K or so in recurring subscriptions, without any expenses for the month. The business is growing rapidly month to month as far as revenue goes, and that would be visible from the revenue stats - I'll post them hopefully Saturday, or Sunday.

This means the asking price is more along 17 months of net profit actually, because the marketing expenses go toward future growth, not in order to continue the existing revenue.

Anyhow, I do agree I didn't make myself clear enough in the first post -

$138K is the BIN price, lower bids would be considered.

However, we're not looking for 10 months of net profit here, either way - the business is worth much more, as anyone who is willing to inspect it will see based on performance.
