How Google Index a website-help

Hi,
I am newbie in seo field and i want to ask that what is process of of indexing a site in google. Can we submit a complete site in one time or we can submit a site by page by page.

you could either submit your website to google to add it in it's search results or link your site from any popular high traffic site and google will crawl your website.
