What are the best free web directories to submit?

I've just created a new website about delicious nuts (pistachios, almonds & cashew etc.) and start introducing it.

I wanna ask which free web directories I should submit my site to. I also have some articles about delicious nuts, which site should I submit them also.

    Please kindly help!

    Thank you!

I am using directorycritic.com every time I submit my newly set-up blogs. They have a huge collection of paid and free directories.

As discussed above i found vmoptions as the list which is fn9 for me and i think if more traffic from directories comes then it would be a good option.

Has to be a quality site with a high PR and an aged domain I think for them to even consider your site lol

If a site ranks well in the search engines it stands a good chance to be trusted by them. Plus even if those links do not count to help boost your ranking they still can drive direct traffic. I frequently see directory like Business.com ranking in the search results. Many small niche directories can drive decent value due to offering decent co-citation data and having exceptionally relevant traffic streams.

Do you really think 2-3 directories matter?
