Just wondered if anyone has had any success with offline marketing, just been doing a bit in last couple of weeks and been doing ok. Had some bussiness cards made up and have been handing them out to people at local casino and had a few sighn ups through it does anyone else have any other offline ideas. I am promoting poker so far sighned up about 11 people now, only recieved commision on 8 so far at $75 each think this is due to first deposit ammount, can see it being very profitable though, however need to find a good way to make my refferals consistant all ideas welcome :D

I have been fairly successful in working with a few local restaurants. I charge them a set monthly price to keep up their website as well as keeping it on the first page of Google as well as helping them with their email marketing and controlling online reviews on places like Yelp, Tripadvisor and some more localized sites. It pays well, but you have to get out and talk to people face to face.

offline marketing can be very cost effective and give you a huge ROI especially today where print advertising is getting dirt cheap regionally and other places are practically giving away advertising as many people are moving to the net.

Oh yes, offline marketing... I love it.. It can get a bit pricey at times, but it works great.

Have you tried, bumper stickers? door hangers? flyers?

You can even have your own M&Ms made to have your website or business logo on. This is a little expensive, but it works..

I make about $20 like every 2 weeks, it's a slow start but hey it's a start. The day I almost backflipped was when I made $128 (as you seen in my thread I made, if you haven't I'll link you to it). So I'm looking to increase how much I make so when I'm older I'll have something to fall back on.

lewis69, have you tried placing the business cards in poker books in book stores?

I have had extreme success with offline marketing but I have never sold anything where I make only $75. Most of my stuff makes me $1000 or more on a sale. I only mention that because I do some marketing that can be quite expensive. Like running a magazine ad or a postcard campaign. It works even better if you can come up with some type of funded proposal.
