adsense almost impossible way to make serious money on web

Maybe. But if you work hard, be consistent, and patient, nothing is impossible my friend. Most people want to make quick money from Adsense, that's make it impossible. I'm also not making much at the moment but few months ago, my Adsense account was averaging 0/day. If it's impossible, nobody will ever promote Adsense ever again considering it doesn't have referral program.

That is completely untrue. Adsense is just one way to make money with a site. That is like saying it is impossible to get traffic to a website for an average webmaster because that is all you have to do. Get the traffic and then convert it into money. If you can't convert the traffic with adsense then you have to convert it with another monetization method (product sale, service sale, advertising, etc.)

Stop thinking about adsense like it's a seperate "method" or "trick". Adsense is just one of many ways to convert traffic into $. Nothing more nothing less. Focus on getting quality traffic and then worry about how to monetize it.

 

that's why most of webmster are not rich because they dont know how to promote/monetize their sites. Making money on the net take time and effort to do and only the one who work hard can succeed.

 

i think most people are under the impression you start a blog with blogger and next week/month your making 500$ a week, it doesnt help when most people are posting fake screenshots saying they earn this and that. Business doesnt really work with that, adsense i see as supplementary income its good as a back up but i focus more on affiliates and my e-commerce stores.

give it time friend and it will come, work hard

It all depends on a few things, your ad layout, your traffic, and your content. If you have content that is dense in low paying keywords, then expect low payout clicks. If you have low traffic, you'll also expect less clicks (in most cases), and if your ad layout is poor, it may not appeal to the users.

If you want to succeed, then you have to be prepared to play around with ad formats and positioning, to find the best way of getting clicks. Most successful webmasters will change the layouts etc of the ads on a regular basis, and constantly test to see what works best on each of their sites. You have to remember, making it with adsense, isn't as easy as just pasting the code into your site (well, most of the time)

 

Most of the comments made above makes a lot of sense. Making money on adsense is very difficult but not impossible. Work hard, be patient and be consistent with what you are doing. Post quality content to encourage loyal followers. Consistently so could give you a high probability to convert those traffic into sales.

Yes, for the average webmaster is almost impossible to make a living from Adsense.

Work on your skills as a webmaster and begin growing your website. Start interesting topics on your site, add unique tools & services, build and grow communities. Become a leader in your niche.

You will only start making serious money when you have a unique, authoritive website with a lot of active visitors on a daily basis.

If not, you should be happy with less than a $1 income per day. But, don't blame Adsense, its not them.

 

Yea, I never really made any money with Adsense. I pretty much gave up on it!

You are feeling it because you are new and have less traffic.

Traffic is the key...for example
if you have 100 visits with 1 click, making it to 1000 visitors you can get 10 click at least or even more. Here the website is same, time is same too but only thing on which earning is dependent is visitors...

 

I think a beginner can also make money very easily through google adsense. Only if the webmasters know how to increase traffic on their websites and good ads placement.

 

In my country, many bookstores are talking about google adsense. And I'm including people buy books on how to get dollars from adsense. But I do not know if I belong to the lucky person? ... And if I read the forums - forum adsense, they are many who get dollars from adsense.I also do not know, whether they're lying or not? only ghost who knows!
