nice try. Not a very trustworthy seller imo. Using this site will get your affiliate account terminated. Might not be right away but they will catch on.

 

These sorts of sites are in such a grey area. A few months ago I was looking at buying hostgator.ws when it was for sale on DP and I emailed Hostgator directly about the site with a link to it.

They told me at the time that using the word Hostgator in the domain was FINE with them, but they reserve the right to change their mind in the future about it, so it may have changed since then. The .ws site was also using their own site look, which they said was NOT ok with them, although I see the site is still up, so maybe they just dont know about it yet.

Anyway, grey area. Check yourself first before buying.

 

I have had sites with hostgator in the name that have been fine!

 

I have done earned over $5,000 in affiliate commissions just in HostGator, I have a personal account manager that raised my payout to $100 regardless of how many signups I have. We had a whole conversation over the phone about how it needed to be used, there is no gray area here. The same thing happened at bluehost.

I trust my affiliate manager more than some moron doing customer service.

This site was a test, it earned 5 commissions in the past three months and I have not gotten any complaints from hostgator.

I think this is a waste of time to get traffic to this guys site, I have requested rev and traffic screenshots twice, this would be the third and even just an asking price range, but no response or pm. Dont waste your time guys!!
