Any kind of revenue from the app?

 

There are two ad spaces: above and below. we share them 50/50 with my partner, and sometimes my other apps show up above, some times below. He made 25usd from one ad space and i got around 80 installs in the last 30 days from my ad space.
If i was to buy the installs they would cost me between 55 and 65 cents each.

If you choose to put ads in both spaces you can make probably 40 and up per month.

It's an app that we haven't modified or touched in the last 8 months at least, and it's still bringing in cash.

Because it's so simple and you don't need to learn how to play, people like it. They come back, they tell their friends.

Facebook is changing some things, and soon you'll be able to ask people for their emails. This is a great opportunity if you are into internet marketing or something like that. Or if you have other FB apps. Or also if you are looking into getting in the FB app business.

We will transfer the game to your server and get it running. We will give you the source code and the DB with the current users, as well as an old backup with thousands of the old users.
Also, i will give you a small script made by my partner with which you can send notifications to all the people in the database.

I'm looking for a quick sale anyway. The right person will make the game grow even more.

And i got 67 installs this month so far from it.

If you add that up: 67 installs x 55 cents= 36.85 usd
Plus 19.08 usd so far in Jan

Total: 55.93 usd with still 3 days left in the month.

Of course, this is if you want to keep it running this way, with one ad for revenue and one ad for your other apps.

It's hosted in a cheap server, and it handles the request great because it's optimized for great performance.

The app it's great for cross promotion as well. You can give people the option of getting help on this one if they install your other apps, and stuff like that. We haven't added those features, but if you program, you can do it easily.

It's programmed in PHP with MySql.



@Self Storage: i can give you the original source code my partner made in english that we used to translate the game into spanish, but the version in spanish has a few upgrades code-wise. You can check both codes and do whatever you want with them. If you BIN the game, remind me to send you both source codes.

Game was bought over a year ago in the FB Dev Forum.

There are people selling the script cheaper than 59.99 in the FB Dev Forum. Go after them.

This is a legitimately bought and modded app. And the price is for the 75k+ Total Users and 17k+ MAU, not for the script, though it will also be provided in english and spanish.

Good luck with your apps. Stop spamming and advertising in my threads.

@malky66: both statements are true. we bought the GAME (http://apps.facebook.com/juegodelamemoria) from a FB dev forum user. the script that originally came there had lots of flaws, and we got to tinker around with it. After a few hours of trying to correct the faulty code, we decided to start coding some things from scratch, change some graphics, etc. This other user claims the game to be too alike his product, and it makes sense because it's the same kind of game, based on the same idea. I bought it with full rights to his codes from a registered user. He bought it without resell rights, and could only sell the one copy of it, and that's what he did. But my partner developed the current code from scratch, based on the same game.
Source code for both will be provided, since we have rights over it but you will not get resell rights on that previous code, only rights to use it on this game. Over our code, we have and concede full rights.

I completely understand the prior user, since i've seen lots of his codes going around on the internet. I've seen many people trying to resell his code, and i condone that kind of activity, since i would hate people reselling my code without permission. What i do condone is the tone of the comments. Writing in that tone is how you make enemies that instead of selling the one copy that they have legal rights to sell, start selling or giving away for free source code to anyone that wants them, thus ruining their business.

On this case, we are not selling source code (though you will get it so you can make upgrades or anything to it) but we are selling a game that has a certain level of popularity, thus the price.
Anyone can get code to any script on the net. You can get the script to run a website like Facebook too. But you have to spend the money to make it grow. Here you have a game with fans, 17000 monthly active users and more than 75k total users.

 

Dont get the wrong idea about my comments, i only ask because i may buy it but having had my fingers burned a few times i like to make sure i have the full story and know exactly what im bidding on.
Is the english code bug free? and is $499 a fixed price or will you accept a serious offer.

@malky66: the english version is not bug free. But the code of the spanish version is very easy to understand and you can change the spanish for english again, and use the english graphics. I assure you that you won't have any problems in translating it.
Facebook is doing some changes to the way the virality works, and you will be able to include "ask for emai", "publish to wall and friend's home pages" (that one you can already do) and other ways of promoting. Notifications though, will be phased out eventually. In order to keep the games viral on Facebook you always have to keep up to date with the integration points and channels.
You are buying a "business" that requires attention. I'm sorry that you've been "burnt" before. I'm not hiding anything here. And the service i provide is just to transfer it to your server and leave it running, but no tech support or upgrades later, though you can talk with my partner after you buy the game and he may help you for a fee.
