Is it a mistake to put ads on a young site?

I have created this hip hop music promotion site just about three weeks ago. I don't know how many visitors I'm getting everyday, or how many page views. So, should I wait possibly a few more months or possibly a year to wait to put Ads on my site. You all are pros, please give me help and tell me what you think I should do!

You can put ads on your site anytime ,,;)

Outbound links > inbound links ...it's not good for seo ..

And if you are looking to concentrate on this site for long time then i would suggest you to buy hosting plan.

It doesn't matter whether your site is young or old, you can put ads on it as long you got a decent traffic, you need to find some ways to track your traffic so you can analysis it.

Sign in to your google account and install google analytics to your website. It is free and it will let you know exactly how many visitors you are getting every day including a whole host of other information including where they are coming from (which site) and which country they come from and what keywords they are using.

To start of with make your articles rich in content and stick google ads on your site.

Also get a training course online about how to setup your site correctly. There are loads. some free some paid.

    Hope this helps a bit.

You need to track your site stat using statcounter.
I recommend you wait another 6 month before put ads coz you're site is still new to monetize.

The first thing you need to do is set up some sort of visitor tracking, otherwise you have no idea what's going on and you're just flying blind.

I normally avoid putting ads on a site until it has started to gather some decent traffic, though recently I noticed that a new site of mine was featured in a major newspaper and had massive traffic for about a week; I hadn't put any ads on it yet, but could have cleared about $5,000 at that traffic level if I had.
