I setup a blog earlier this month and finally got everything the way I wanted.

Too big header which pushes the content way too down.

Definitely header is too big. Theme is med-

 

Anyone would savor the light and restful colors handled in your design.

Basic mistakes:

- crazy wrong color combination
- too big header, why I need to scroll for information?
- advertisement everywhere, do I need find content? I left these type of pages very quickly as lot of people
- articles without images? Nice pictures can interest me to stay on page
- in header menu are just partners, nothing else, so empty line, useless, remove or add more things to the menu

 

I think your logo is too big and I don't really like the color scheme but apart from that not too bad.

 

I changed the theme. I just need to decide on a header.

Hmm a simple blog with simple design..

 

This looks much better, try put some nice graphic to header combinated with logotype and it can increase design to good site.

I am not sure how it used to look but it looks good to me. I don't find anything too in-your-face. Good work.

 

I think the ads are still a little bit overdone. Not enough focus is placed on the actual content. The two sidebars stick out above the content simply because they're bolder and filled with images/links. While the actual content is less noticeable and focused.
