i am not knowing much about affiliate and i will not trust them bacuse they will ask me money..is that affliate are cheating
There are many affiliate programs out there and most are legit and honest but some might not be. In 90% of the cases the affiliate program is honest since it's good for your long term business success. Many MLM programs requires that you pay to play since that is how many MLM programs make their money (the setup fee...) and you should usually avoid affiliate programs that requires you to pay some sort of fee. Look at the merchants website and the products they sell, if they look solid and professional the affiliate program will most likely be handled honestly and professionally to. /Rob
I'd like to point out that affiliate programs can be quite tricky; especially for newbies like myself. The deal is there are a lot of companies with products you can promote. The catch is that they are marketing their selves. So, they have restrictions in place so that you cannot use their keywords in a PPC campaign. (They don't want competition!) Or they don't allow certain types of marketing...if you don't have a lot of TARGETED traffic coming to your website already for that product, you're stuck! Affiliate programs could be profitable if you have TARGETED traffic on your site that you'd like to monetize. Especially, if you can find products that compliment your own! Please comment on this post...I'm always learning.
I'm going to start an MLM! The focus will be on PRODUCTS for the online marketing industry. Ebooks, software, PLR, Affiliate Programs, etc. Info overload. It will be a membership site with products in each category dripped. Folks will be able to buy the products individually, sign up for a membership (monthly or annual), or (MLM part) get access to everything all the time! Members can sell the products as affiliates. MLM members can sell memberships and products! It's going to be quite a change from what's out there now...So GO MLMers!
Affiliate programs wont scam you (usually at least). Pick one that has some good reputation and looks professional and got good PR and Alexa rank. Dont go after the most fishy looking sites and you should be fine
Forgot to mention the most important thing to get payed from affiliate programs. Dont exploit the affiliate programs when advertising. Stick by their rules.
