Keywords diagnosis for my website

I have been working on my website more than 3 months, I chose a keywords for my website, but for now, my website even was not listed on the top 100 for google result using that keywords.

'short funny jokes' is one of keywords for my website, but i don't find my site in the top 100.

When i use other keywords, especially some good keywords, my site almost will be listed at the 1st position.

So i don't what the problem is, I use 'short funny jokes', which is a bit long keywords, and place it in the page title, description, body, but why can't I search it via google.

3 months isnt lot of time really. you have quite a bit of competition, it would take time get on top.

few things I would suggest:
increase traffic
keep building links

 

Building links will be the key. I'd wait a little bit longer than 3 months.

looks like you have alot of competitors on that one.. besides its really takes time.. target and compete more your target kw.. gather more quality and regular update of your site..

 

May be some kind of Google dance, happens with me as well...a site ranking in top 20 is thrown out of 1st 10 pages but it regains the same position after some time...thus I would suggest you to continue building good links with that particular keyword in anchor text...if you are employing any spam technique then stop it asap otherwise you will end up with drop in ranking for other keywords as well.

BTW in google.co.uk you are 97th...hope you ll do better soon

 

I would do a keyword density check on your site. in addition to that I would check the ranking of keywords relevant to your site... category. From there pick 3-4 keywords. That should increase your SERP.

Get some backlinks that use the anchor text short funny jokes. Most of your backlinks use the phrase Funny jokes with English and Chinese version. Good luck!

 

Yes Anchor text or the text used to get back links are more important than just getting back links.

you can get a few reviews of your web site for a few dollars (with some back links)

First thing is that 3 months are not enough for top ranking for such short funny jokes.You should keep powerful backlinks with your site and that give result appropriate for search engine.

 

i am also trying to get in top 100 in Google SERP. But after 5 month, i am not in top 100 in Google SERP. now i am trying for some other keyword for my website. So, i think it take some time to get top.
