Is it possible to buy toys not made in china?

I took a walk around my kids rooms and my friends kids room.. Every single toy and alot of clothing is made in china.. As a matter of fact everything is. Most things in my house these days are also made in China. Not by Choice, it 's just every thing in every store is made in china

How did this happen? What ever happened to Taiwan? Honduras, or even American made items.

Is it like this in other countries as well ?

 

it used to be you could go into wal mart and buy American. i think the only thing in wal mart is guns and tires. everything else is made in another country.

 

my son have many toys but made in china...i dont know why china import any country but the quality hmm i cant say.. ..i dont know..

 

Well I doubt it, almost everything is made in China these days.

 

and i wont have a problem with it, the thing do have a problem is lead and poor manufacturing. mcdonalds happy meal toys, burger king, wendys, sonic.. all of their kids meal toys are also from china

 

Im in the UK, a lot of our products are made in china, but some are made in the UK or made in england, some quality products are made in japan, some cheaper clothing that i buy is made in countries like cambodia, nike trainers that ive had in the past have been from korea.

Sometimes the stationary products are german made.

Made in taiwan i used to see a lot of.

 

Why do you have to consider which country the toys are made in?I think it's only necessary for you to consider the price and the quality.Maybe China is good at making such toys.

 

Dependant on quality, i used to have some Sony DJ headphones, they were made in japan, very good quality, but there are fakes of them that apear on ebay.

Regarding toys and other goods, as far as im aware, a cheap toy could be made at the same manufacturers in china as a well known brand and the difference will probably be down to just slightly better components going into the better toy/product.

Any country can make the toys and other products, its cos china can do it dirt cheap if the quantity of units is nice and high.

Getting goods manufactered abroad just makes more profit sense, theres explotation of course but we all turn a blind eye if it means cheap goods.

 

Everything is made in China!

These days every single thing is: ''Made in China'' ; toys, technologies, clothes, furniture...
I think they don't make the best quality things, ( no offence ). ^^

This reminds me of a joke:

There were 2 major companies for electronics; one from America, and one from China.
Both were very successful and they both made a lot of money.
One day God came by, and saw what they were doing.
America's company didn't work a lot and still made a lot of money. I mean they made quality products, but they didn't put much effort in it.
China's company made a loads of money but with products of very low quality. They worked massive but s.h.i.t.t.y.
So, God made an Ultimatum: If America's company didn't start to give effort He would destroy them with a click of a button. And if China's company didn't start to made quality things He would destroy them with a click of a button too.

Both of the companies continued to do the same.

He clicked a button and America's company went into air!
Then he went to China's company, He clicked the button and nothing happened! He clicked it again - nothing!
He got mad and looked at the back of the button.
It said: '' MADE IN CHINA ''

chinease items sucks, i purchased a dell laptop and it have chinease battery installed. Battery stops providing backup in just 5 month after purchase. I contacted Dell and they reply NO Warrenty for Battery. I think they want to tell me that No warrenty on chinease items. heheh

well all shopkeepers in India have a note on their shop's door No warrenty for Chinease Items. Mostly everything is made in china.. and the goods which are made in india or japan , their prices sucks. more than 5 times expensive than chinease price.

 

Is it possible to buy something not made in China? Doubt it.

 

People are concerned with buying China made toys for harmful chemicals found in them which are dangerous for children.
China needs to impose more stricter norms for quality check and needs to guard its own interest and thereby of the whole world by ensuring the quality of the products it ships worldwide... is at least not harmful!

Well, China is technologically too much advanced.
But you need to buy a branded product and that too from a Show Room. Then only you will get original product.
Even Dell, Nokia, etc are made in China.

I think is impposible to get toys not made in from china. I buy an original standing figure such as One Piece,naruto and batman, all made in china...
But don't worry about the quality of this item, cause I believe that have international standard.

 

i think it made in china because the cost is cheap, at least u build your own factory

 

because the toys made in china is more cheap, there is a lot product from another country with another price too

yeah China is booming!
they manifucture EVERYTHING and ANYTHING now.

and the quality is getting better with time..i can think of two reasons why Chinese stuff are everywhere:

1) because they produce MANY things.
2) their price is 50% less than the American/Japanese (that's because of low labor cost)

i believe China will rule the world someday...
