1) Post links to on your blogs/domain names to follow you on twitter.

 

Just follow the niche followers and they will follow you back. Find the niche followers of your products or services or like minded people. Tweet some interesting posts and also Re-tweet others tweets. Frequency of the tweet is depends upon you.

 

Just follow their TOS. I dont think there is any limit on tweets.

 

search for people in the niche you are interested in. follow as many as you can. i usually do 1 a day.

 

In your blog or website give people the option to follow you. You will be surprised how many people will add you.

 

Definitly do searches on your niche topics, and add the resultant people. I do One search, with multiple ads per day to build the account.

 

Word of the wise..

You can update your twitter status as often as you like but allow 3 minutes in between each status update. Or else they will ban your account.. not right away.. but within 1 or 2 weeks.

Also become a follow and post useful information.

Add yourself so others can find you, too, type in your niche keywords, etc and away you go. Also, NEVER auto-follow people! You'll just end up with spammers and people who could care less about what you have to say. Just like anything else on the Internet, you want targeted followers.

Interact, retweet. It's all about socializing and the eventual PRE-sell.

For just starting out, first do 25 good Tweets and that will populate your Twitter page, top to bottom. After that, a good rule of thumb is at least 5-10 Tweets per day. There really isn't a golden number, but it's a good number to shoot for.

 

Make sure you throw good keywords in your posts. Offer something to members. Participate in Follow Fridays, ect.

There are loads of websites around where you join and everyone follows each other, but do they actually work?

Seems to me that your followers wouldnt be targetted enough to create a decent CTR?

 

There are lots of automatic tools that you can use to build a list of targeted followers. Tweetdeck, SocialOomph and Phoenix Twitter Desktop are justa couple of the Free tools that I use.

Although I must insist you use these tools with-in moderation. It can be very tempting to use the power of these tools for spamming purposes. I would try to avoid that as it would be a breach of Twitter's TOS and you could end up with your account being banned.

A good way to get a lot of followers is follow as many people as you can and they will start to follow back.

 

"twitter for dummies"....it is a book for new twitter user....I like this book...

 

You can gain a lot of followers by following them also especially if those taht you follow like your updates in your site they will come and come to follow you. Pick a good niche for your site usually those for entertainment one really works fine.

 

Twitter is gonna explode this year like Facebook did. Get yourself an account and just post whatever interests you, honesty is the best policy with Twitter. What i did was follow a Celeb (popular one) as they have thousands of followers and post something interesting - i agree Re-Tweeting is also good.

Few different methods to doing this. One organic let the followers come to you via your tweets and advertising on your sites. Two mass follow and hope they follow you back then after 48 hours remove the ones that did not follow you and replace them with a new mass following.


2)What should be the frequency of your tweet?
Daily or a few times a day will show activity and prompt people to add you engage with as many other tweeters as you can.
