You just have to bookmark your link on digg and a good description of that and if your site concept is good , people will digg it so that more and more people come to know. The more no. of digg on your content , higher the possibility of getting traffic to your site . You may also write a blog on your site and make another post there , in this way you can make your site popular on digg
Digg has worked for me somewhat. What I do is everytime I post a new article on my website I take that link and post it on Digg this has helped the website in general to get popular I've gotten a few refferer hits from them but not that many, so I wouldnt waste that much time on it.
like social bookmark u just search link that reference to submit-link or some related sentence like that you will redirect to next page that very simple mate
You can use what is referred to as link bait. Rather than linking to your homepage, you add content to your site that is fun and entertaining which caters more to a site like Digg. If you had a law firm site named "Joe & Jim's - National Law Firm" it wouldn't work to just add that title to Digg with a description about your services. Instead, you could: - Post a link to your site that talks about the top 10 media followed law cases in the US - Find funny lawyer jokes to add - Humorous or interesting newspaper clipping about law firms This is not the easiest topic, but if you're creative enough you can get some traffic, gain exposure to your site and create backlinks by others who find you through Digg and link to you.
Even if your article doesn't hit the front page of Digg, Google checks the upcoming sections of Digg constantly for new content and links to crawl. This is good for your article, as it helps your pages become indexed faster and your article's Digg Submission page become indexed as well.
First of all be actively submitting and digging other articles until you make up a good network on Digg. Then start submitting your own articles and ask people in your network to digg it. I was able to get one of my blogs articles on Diggs front page for a few minutes, but it generated around 3400 visitors. Follow the above words and you'll make it there.
Yes, I had some success with Digg too, but in general you should occupy yourself with digg constantly to build up a network and that is not that simple, plus it is time consuming. And be careful while submitting the links from your website all the time or you can get burried there. I'm done with digg for now.
Thank you for pointing out the basic plot. I have heard about digg before but never had the time to find out...
Digg ranks well on google. so submitting your post there regularly gives you some google traffic as well.
I use Digg, but haven't had a lot of luck. I've had social contacts on the next request that I Digg or promote their articles - I've gotten some things going where I will sort of cross promote (informally) with other people who want Diggs or ask if I will share a link with others. I think just signing up and submitting with Digg is not enough, you have to do that extra bit of promotional work. The exception would be if you have articles posted at a site that has a Digg widget right there for people to click on. Then you're going to get some Diggs, maybe. I think there are other, probably easier ways, to get attention for your articles... like article marketing or even Tweeting.
