Well guys this is my 100th post so I thought I'd give back to the community in a BIG way, one of my main earners through adsense is MNS (Micro Niche Sites) which are mini sites focused on a few keywords. I have a lot of these sites and once promoted and ranked they bring consistent income on autopilot. Below I will outline the basic steps I take to building these sites, and will answer any questions you have in this thread.

1. Pick a product Keyword

- I use product keywords because you get a higher Earning per click in adsense when you target these types of “buyer keywords”
- Another reason I use them is because it is easy to write a product review
- Eg “car seats for toddlers”

2. Find 2 other related Long tail keyword

- I then try to find 2 other keywords that have my original keyword in it but also have a brand
- Eg. If my keyword was “car seats for toddlers” I would use “evenflo car seats for toddlers”

3. Research Competition and CPC

- I go to the google keyword tool listed here https://adwords.google.com/select/KeywordToolExternal and check out the CPC of all of my keywords
- I try to target only keywords with a CPC of $1 or more
- I put my keyword into google and get the top 10 results
- I take all 10 Urls and put them into yahoo site explorer to see how many backlinks they have
- If out of the top 10 most have more than 100 backlinks I will find new keywords

4. Use a simple and Clean Theme

- I use a very simple and clean theme that has a good Click through rate

5. Write about 400 words of content on your product

- I write about 400 words of content about each keyword on separate pages
- If your wondering what to write about why not write it in a product review fashion?

6. Build 30 backlinks each week to each page until you are ranked

- I write articles about my products and submit to ezine, do blog commenting, and social bookmark

7. Add Adsense once you are ranked

- I wait until I am ranked to add adsense so I get a higher payout

8. Rinse and Repeat X 30 = 100/day

9. My favorite step – Enjoy the Profits!

 

Lol xfactors method at work ))) even template. But I wouldn't go for "car seats for toddlers" keyword Look who is on the 1st page, it won't be as easy to rank high

 

Your right my method is based on xfactors but I twist it in the backlinking and KW research part and dude it works!!! "car seats for toddlers" was just an example not one of my sites. And I use a modified version of the xfactor theme and it works great!!

Why reinvent the wheel right? Focus on making it better!!

I linked 15 sites to it, and got PR2, lol.

I will do so, now that I've seen that there are legit methods about this. I just made that one site on a hunch, loll.

 

A good way to promote a single page website. but Research Competition and CPC.

I think I covered the most important parts? I only target keywords with a cost per click of $1 or more. I then research the backlinks of the top 10 results using http://siteexplorer.search.yahoo.com/ .

If i see too many sites with over 100 Backlinks and high Pagerank backlinks I backoff and find new keywords.

How long does it take you to hit page 1 in google (say the top 5 results) for your keywords?

 

If I have chosen the keywords correctly (competition with low number and low pr backlinks) it usually takes about 1-1.5 months. Remember I'm not going after super competitive terms so it should not take that long to rank

How do you know its $1 per click? Are you using http://www.google.com/sktool/ ? I only see "suggested bid" not price per click.

I saw big dollars like $5-$45 on "sugg. bid", is that similar to price perclick? really that accurate? 45$ per click? thats huge!

Also, I wonder if visitors coming from google, their clicks are worth more than visitor from youtube?

Lets say i have 2 visitors, 1 from google, 1 from youtube, they click similar type of ads. Will the click cost the same?

Since I target 3 keywords I have three pages right? So you have to build backlinks to them all if you want to maximize your earnings!

As i stated in the thread i use https://adwords.google.com/select/KeywordToolExternal as my kw tool. Just make sure you unhide the average CPC column and your good to go. If you target big click keywords eg $45/click you'll have a tough time ranking because these keywords are very competitive, stick to just over $1. As for youtube vs google, all my traffic is from google so I cant really comment on that one, sorry
