How to tell if Premium Publisher?

Is there anyway to tell if a website is REALLY a premium publisher?

I mean you (theoretically) can alter the javascript from google adsense to make it look like premium publisher ads..

but can YOU really tell if a website is or not? Is there a 100% way?

Modifying the JS is against the AdSense TOS. If you see an ad that is irregular then chances are that might be from a premium publisher. Otherwise they would get a swift kick in the backside by the Google Boot

Yeap fourdesign is right. But there is no way of knowing if they are a premium publisher or not besides guessing by looking at the advert size and design.

I didnt think that website had enough traffic to be a premium publisher and that is what caught my attention.

The website owner might have premium publisher status but that doesn't mean that every single website he has gets a ton of traffic. It would be possible to get his status across several websites. Some could be heavy hitters and some could be less travelled...

Yes the example you gave (acurazine) is too small to be a premium publisher. But what normally happens is that one publisher who has one big site becomes the premium publisher and brings all his/her other sites (which are small) also in the same account.

What exactly are you after. To know if they are a premium publisher or if they have just modified their code? My advice, just focus on your own plan and don't worry about them.
