the other sites that are within your same niche.

Post what it is that your site has that's different?

I thought about this today looking at other sites that offer the same niche as mine.

Design, choice of domain, strategy used for buidling backlinks, editorial guidelines, custom features (one of my sites is a directory), daily updates, editorial inclusion of new listings aside from listings added through paid submissions...

I usually do a lot of research before building and marketing my sites...

My site is about movies and links to download. It focuses on the usability and nothing else. As a result, no ads (yet).

Most video game stores sell to the player which is most often younger people that do not have much money or credit cards. So I have recently turned my attention towards the parents, the ones that dish out the money to their kids. It seems to be working fairly well so far but I have a lot more to do yet.

The majority of my images are exclusive, that is, only one company in the world will have a license to reproduce and market that image during the time that you are using it.
