Is there a free software similar to dreamweaver?

    hi is there any free software similar to dreamweaver that we can edit and view the webpage at the same time? because some php editor i use i cant see the layout, i can only see all the codes.

    While NVU may not have all the features of Dreamweaver, it is pretty user friendly

    so how do i test my page without uploading to my hosting account?

    The tool would allow you to preview the page in browser...But if its a dynamic page then you may need to upload it your hosting account
