I am the first one to say .org or .info doesn't make any difference, go to google.com and search for a very highly competitive keyword "spain" without quotes, and you will notice spain.info ranking next to wikipedia. also try googling for southafrica.info for southafrica and rome.info for rome.

so focus on name instead of tld.

.org for sure. I've never seen a .info domain rank for a competitive keywords.

For me both are same. Choose keyword rich domain names to rank good in serps.

Definitely go with .org - especially if you are going to do non-profit.

I would say .org is the better option but in your OP you mention about 'Website is about nutrients stuff' but why are you only looking at those 2 option you must be still able to find a .com or a .net which surely must be better or am i missing the point ???

I have experiences with both, orgs and infos. I see orgs performing better than infos in search engines.

I think it's pretty clear from the other replies, but .org is definitely the better option. Atleast I regard .org domains as more authoritative.

Yes i agree with you. It does not matter that which extension should be used, only need to focus on SEO.

.info domains are only used for doorways IMO. So choose .ORG

Bollocks! info is not worse for seo than org. They are on the same position! but org is 1 character less + considered to be less premium than org. that's it. That's why org is way better than info. Nothing to do with seo. We have promoted a lot of info and i have not seen any problem with seo with info.

Are you crazy? of course a lot of satellite websites are build on info domains just because info costs $1 at godaddy.com and a lot of websites that are build for sale uses .info as it simply cheaper. But it's absolutely incorrect to say that just for doorways.

Always try to go for a .com, if not .net or .org. Keep the .info as the final choice.
