SEO in future !

Hello all dp members, I want your opinion about future prospects of SEO. Now a days we have tons of people taking this profession.... are they having future secure in SEO.

 

Yes, the future is definitely secured. Haven't you heard of Rand Fishkin, Aaron Wall, Danny Sullivan, Vanessa Fox, Bruce Clay etc

I think the future of SEO is safe because this is the profession of internet and I don't think that the use of internet can be stopped in the future because it is very useful thing and every one wants his site to be in top and that's why SEO's future is very good.

 

I also think that their future in SEO is secure. It keeps growing and Internet Marketing is such a huge market nowadays. I wouldn't be worried if I were you.

 

Don't worry about the future of SEO. SEO process will be there till the end of internet.

I don't think that SEO profession is not safe as in today's world internet have become very important for everyone and everyone want to be a master in it.

 

If you want security on your profession we as SEO should learn other kind of marketing that will help us improved not only in SEO but as internet marketer.

 

Depends on just what you know really, if your in the SEO trade and your good at what you do then your HTML/XHTML and CSS skils should be at a good level and a basic knowlage of a server side programming language is helpful, so with a little work if worst come to worst you could do web development.

As already mentioned you should not really be concentrating soley on SEO anyway in my opinion internet marketing as a whole is more of the trade I would expect most people to be learning, so even if there is a massive shift in the way the search engines work in someway atleast you still have other skills and can offer services still.

i have one question. As per the latest updates from google for 2010, We know that site speed is going to be one of the ranking factors, but any idea when will it take effect from??

 

Future in SEO is good but Future of Internet Marketer is Bright.

 

Seems like a lot of people have shown their point of views towards the bright future of SEO. However, technology always brings in something new and right now a normal person with SEO knowledge is following basic strategies

- Linking
- Submitting to Directories
- Submitting URLs
- Trying those Twitter and Digg Methods
- Posting and adding comments with tags
- Hiring paid review writers
- Anchor texts

The important aspect is that these methods are all so common and have been in practice. I am sure that some folks with a unique knowledge of SEO will definitely come up with something new suddenly. Another method of SEO. "SEO" itself will remain intact but new competitors from next gen will surely wipe off a lot of competitors.

Why not. Now all has started to migrate to internet world and start websites. In future the number of websites would increase for sure, so SEO will be demanded high

Search Engine Optimization has future and there is no end of Search Engine Optimization because every user trying to find there need from online and every user know that if he wants anything online, he will go with first search engine and then he will use other source.

So from the above simple statement that SEO has no End.

 

SEO is something that will be around for a very long time. Until the internet is out there. It is important for everyone to be remain teachable to remain update with all the changes that take place.
