Myspace, Facebook, Twitter ... next ?

Anybody got any hot tips on the next social networking site that's going to take off?

Any heads up or ideas floating around?

 

no i think these three will remain at the top for a long time....people are getting tired of signing up for these sites

Too many spammers on your FaceBook or tired of playing FarmVille or whatever?

Are Your Profiles being overwhelmed by gangsta rappers on MySpace?

Or maybe like me, you think Twitter just plain sucks??

Well, if you're wanting a REAL social network for talking to people and meeting friends then my vote is for either MyYearBook or Tagged....

but I'm sure others will dismiss those for what ever reason......

I could see FourSquare challenging those three sites in the next 5 years. FourSquare makes real life like a video game. They are climbing up the ranks rapidly and will only grow at a faster rate as the world becomes more familiar with smart-phones.

 

I would like to know too but I'm not sure if I can keep up with all these networks.

 

Waste of time these crap social networking sites.

 

Just like you, I want to know other good networking for marketing. But I just try ning.com it looks great for me CMIIW

There are some sites trying to having top positions in future like facebook, orkut.
But no one can sure about it that who will go up or come down.

 

I also think that those soical network sites remain on the top for Internet Marketing.

 

Does Internet Marketing really even work on those? I have been doing ads for a while on Facebook and im getting the hits but no sales.

I've never heard of the 2 you mentioned
myspace is dead, it shouldn't even be called a social networking site
I'd say geo targeting sites like foursquare.com will be the next "big" thing

 

FourSquare is definitely one of the "next big things", though right now it looks like in order to make any money from the site you'll have to make an application utilizing it's API, or a website that aggregates it's data and hope to monetize it via traditional methods. I'm sure time will reveal some methods of earning from FourSquare that nobody has thought of yet though

That being said, Myspace is dead, and Facebook isn't going anywhere any time soon, they completely dominate many aspects of online presence. Think "Facebook Connect", for starters.
