SEO for blogspot?

Can anyone tell me about SEO for blogspot???

I want better indexing in gogle

 

Blogspot and other blogs are much easier to SEO

 

since blogspot is owned by google, they get crawled easily..

also, i have 2 blogpot blogs that I don't maintain, still they have maintained pr2

while my main blog which I update often with original content, nada!

 

Blogspot as what I have known do index on its own you just need to keep updating your site with fresh content from time to time...And also another think is that try to get backlinks for your blogger blog as well

 

Yes, blogspot are easily to get indexed by google but it is must better if you onpage and offpage optimize them

 

On Page:

You can edit the standard template to a more SE friendly version - optimise the title and description fields.

Off page:

Build links from blog directories, ask people to link to you, syndicate your blog etc.

Basically, if you want to use your blogspot presence as a website (I presume for Adsense) or to test things, you need to treat it exactly the same as a regular website.

I consider wordpress rather than blogspot. Because blogspot is not look like professional at all. thats my thinking

 

Same, you can make much more with wordpress than with blogspot, it look better, it's almost as easy to set up and also very google friendly if you "tweak" it right.

That blows my mind that Google would have a blogspot site number one for the phrase "make money online" the fact that it's a blogspot site makes it lose creditability with me. It would be like geocities.

 

You can submit them in webmaster tools, verify using google's verification code. (Edit the template and put it in the header).

Then you submit the sitemap too, as:

http ://www. yoursitename. blogspot. com/atom.xml


This is more than enough to get it crawled as you also get the priority of having a site inside the Google world.

blogspot does index better in google due to them being owned by google. You will gain easier crawlers.
