Hello DP members!! I have a question that I just can seem to dig out the answer to. If I want to rank high for a keyword (crazy white cat) for the example, and the crazywhitecat.com, .net, .org are already taken, is it better to: A) crazywhitecat.info B) crazy-white-cat.com C) crazywhitecat.ageddomain.com D) ageddomain.com/crazywhitecat Which one of these options would be best for SEO!! Thank you!!!!
I'm not sure. I would guess the crazy-white-cat.com option. I have a similar question as well. Right now I have a site on a sub-domain "everythingnow.net/themovietimeline/" I plan on making "www.everythingnow.net" into it's own site eventually, but I didn't have the money at the time to register another domain name for the "Movie Timeline" so I put it under an existing domain as: www.everythingnow.net/themovietimeline. So the question is: Is it worth it to register a new domain name for it and just wait to promote the site until it has it's own domain name or is it not that big of a deal to the search engines?
.info or with dash will be lot better than subdomain. subdomains are considered as nwe site so a subdomian on aged domain with not connection to the main site will not give you any benefit. if it is however related site (both the main domain and the subdomain), then you can link them together to get the aged domian benefit
isnt it concerning seo important the name itself so it is good to be domain.domain.com or is it better domain-domain.com??? cheers z
I think you should register domain if your budget is high. crazy-white-cat.com is the based. If .ageddomain.com is relevant to the crazy-white-cat then go for the subdomain.
Using keyword in your domain name, i don't think its good SEOing. always choose easy and readable domain name. It reflect your brand.
