Lyrics site makes $3500-5000 amonth using blogspot

Well, lyrics and mp3 downloads are two of the hottest terms to target.

 

The simple rule goes (as far as I am concerned): There is money in every niche.

 

hahahahaha.... i had thought about this idea once a day,, but i thought it again, because the ilegal problem in every lyric that i put in my web. so i don`t use that idea. too risky. are u serious about your talking. it`s tricky i think.

would you give me more info about making the lyric that i put in, become such a legal thing........

and i get another question from metrolyrics.com.... they put some artist`s picture there. don`t u see... and my question is... is it legal????? all of the pictures and photos in that website.

Dude, Lars is the drummer in Metallica (They generate much large crowds than beyonce, rihanna, etc), maybe you've heard of them, they had the 10th most grossing tour of 2009 (According to SoundScan), have sold over 100 million albums, sued and won against Napster, etc.

BTW, simply putting up a notice of copyright doesn't make it legal in any way to sue the content. Typically labels and artists won't go after these sites as they serve a good purpose to their fans.

HOWEVER, a simple statement especially when the lyrics are posted by a single blogger, doesn't negate copyright, that's just ridiculous, if that was the case every user places a Getty Image on their site would have a statement about the photos in question and every news aggregation company would do the same for Reuters and Associated Press articles without paying anything.

On the other hand if lyrics are "user" submitted there is a bit more leeway in DCMA laws which can be argued since the law only holds network owners to the law in terms of removing the copyrighted information when requested by the copyright holder.

Write your own spider, set it to crawl a number of sites you want to harvest content from.

Or do it manually.

One of the strategy is do not include lyrics from Rocker Band such as Metallica. if you look at the audience of lyrics sites, 99% is female 14-20 years old. Teenage girls DO NOT listen to Metallica or any other hardcore music.

They love mainstream musics. Taylor swift, Chris brown, Justin Bieber, anything they see on MTV or american Idol these days. Metallica is sooo 1995, only for old men and geeks.

Be fast, grab only brand new lyrics before other sites grab the lyrics. Go and search for the Upcoming CD Release for the brand new UPCOMING album and search its TRACKS. Meanwhile you can post only the "title" of the song, and tell visitors, "lyrics coming soon. come back later."

On top of all, you have to like musics, and stay updates. If you don't like gossips news celebrity, this niche might not good for you. Reading gossip news let you know what cd or song is leaked out today or tomorrow.
