I tried searching for reg appraisal in chrome with google search and it rated #1. Then tried a google search in FF and received a rank of #3. Then I tried an IE8 search with google and received rank #1 again. Not sure why the FF browser returns a lower rank with the same search engine? Bing? well the only way I found it there was with no space between words and it showed the google module but not the site on first page.

perhaps you were logged into gmail in one of the browsers. Google provides personalized results based on the cookies and other temporary internet files.

Use a proxy server, and you should see the same results using all 3 browsers.

This brings up a question. Where can I go to in order to find actual rankings for Google? I would like to avoid clearing cookies, cache, ect. whenever I want to see actual rankings. On that same note, how much different are the personalized search results vs. generic results? Anyone care to share their experience?
